Lifebrief is a private, encrypted home for the things your family will need but you have never written down. Accounts, passwords, instructions, letters, wishes. One calm place. Ready.
End-to-end encrypted. Made in the UK by Antler Labs.
The bank logins. The investment accounts you opened a decade ago and never logged into since. The subscriptions still pulling from your card. The photos worth keeping. The letter you have meant to write to your child for years.
These things sit in our heads and across a dozen apps and old emails. Easy enough for us, impossible for anyone else.
Lifebrief is the once-and-done place to put all of it. So when the people you trust need to find something, they can.
Open the app. Walk through what is relevant. Choose who you trust. Hand them the brief. Done.
Open the app. Walk through the categories. Add what is relevant. Skip what is not. Most people get the essentials covered in an hour or so. You can come back and add more whenever.
Nominate two or more people. We cryptographically split a recovery key between them. No one of them can access your vault alone, but together they can. You decide how many are needed.
Lifebrief generates a one-page letter of instructions. Print it. Keep it with your will. The people you trust have everything they need to find what you have stored.
The encrypted vault contents never leave your device in a form anyone else can read. Your passphrase derives a key using Argon2id, the modern memory-hard standard, designed to resist brute-force at scale. Your vault is encrypted with AES-256-GCM, the same encryption the US government uses for classified information.
We do not hold your key. We cannot read your vault. We have built the product so we genuinely cannot, not because we promise to be nice, but because the cryptography prevents it.
If a court asks us for your data, we will comply with what we hold: an opaque blob of ciphertext and an email address. If our servers are breached tomorrow, the attacker takes the same opaque blob and gets nothing from it. The privacy guarantee is mathematical, not editorial.
Lifebrief organises things into categories so you are not staring at an empty box. Add what is relevant. Skip the rest.
Pay nothing if all you need is the essentials. Pay once or monthly when you want more. No data sold, no advertising, ever, on any tier.
The six things people ask before they open the app. Honest answers, no fluff.
